ON SITE – MOBILE LINE BORING

Matt Moane Marine Engineering provides an on-site Mobile Line Boring Engineering Service for the Maritime Shipping Industry. Our on-site Mobile Line Boring Service provides a fast turnaround for repairs to ships in Port or at Sea and other Maritime Commercial Operating Vessels.

With our Mobile Line Boring and Line Bore Welding Service we are able to carry out the repairs to reclaim worn or flogged bores, cylindrical housings and faces. With bores and cylindrical housings that have over time worn or flogged out due to a long and hard service life we are able to reclaim these bores and housing by a process that re-welds building up the worn bores, cylindrical housing and faces and then re-machining back to OEM sizing ready for new bearings, bushings, shafts or new pin installation. We are able to re-cut keyways and re-cut threads in bores after repairing. We will carry out all liquid nitrogen shrink freeze fitting of bearings and bushings that need to be installed.

Our on-site Mobile Line Boring and Bore Welding Service provides repairs to large and small crane sections, tower crane sections, large gear bores and key ways, pin bores, hydraulic cylinder and ram eye bushing bores, re-alignment of shaft bearings or bearing housings, re-machining of prop shaft tubes and prop shaft supports like skegs, construction machinery and equipment, dredging vessels and equipment, large pump housings, piling machinery and equipment, container loaders.

We are able to support and provide bearings, bushings, pins, shafts and seals etc.
